My fan blows, you can hear it, but no air comes from any vent. I cycle the vents and still nothing.

Hi,

This vehicle wasn't equipped with a cabin air filter.

If you are getting no airflow from the vent, does it come out elsewhere? For example, does the defroster work or at your feet? If it does, then it is likely related to the mode door actuator. The mode door is what directs airflow. If that isn't the case, let me know. However, if it is the issue, I attached the directions below for replacing the mode door actuator below.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

When it does it, no air flows from anywhere. But it doesn't do it all of the time. It's weird!

Hi,

I wonder if the mode door is moving enough to prevent air from entering the vehicle. Something is closing or moving to prevent the airflow from entering the vehicle.

Does the fan sound change when this happens?

At this point, you may want to remove the blower motor and confirm there is nothing in there that could be causing the airflow.

The blower motor is under the dash on the passenger side. I attached the directions below for the removal and installation procedures.

Let me know if that is something you would feel comfortable doing.

Take care,

Joe
