bypassing heater core

heater core blew! Want to bypass it until i can make the proper repair.

If you raise the hood, you will see two hoses (probably around an inch in diameter) that go into the firewall. Those are heater core hoses. When the engine is cold, you can take them off and link them together using an adapter that you get from Lowe's or Home Depot. Just link them together and make sure the hose clamps are good and tight, and that the hoses are not kinked. You should be good to go. Of course, I do not know where you live, but winter is coming. If you want to have heat, you will need to get that fixed ASAP.
