Can you bypass the AC on this car?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Yes, it can be done. What I recommend is removing the compressor and replacing it with an AC bypass pulley. That way you have the same belt routing and the same belt can be used. The part is about the same cost as a new belt and eliminates the issues with routing.

I believe the part you need is manufactured by Dorman and the part number is 34236. Please confirm that is the correct one at the parts store when you go to get it. I attached a picture of it.
