Buying this car

I am considering buying this car for $3,000.00. I know Toyota vehicles tend to be reliable. But will this car be reliable or will it have too many problems due to its age? What other cars do you recommend for under $3,000.00 that won't have any problems?

Hi,

It is hard to say if any individual vehicle will be ok because that is subject to the owners maintenance habits and driving style.

However, speaking in general terms about this vehicle, it does have good reputation with no major issues. The important thing you want to look at is repair cost. How much will it cost to repair it if it breaks and this vehicle is on the cheaper side, so that is good.

I ran a quick blue book value on it and it ranges from $2,500.00 to $3,500.00 so this price is right in the middle which again, is good.

I would ask for maintenance records and run a car fax on it and if all checks out, then take it for a long test drive. If all is okay, then it looks like a good deal.
