We have had constant electrical problems with this van. Currently the battery will drain down if the van is not run for 10-12 hours. I have found that if I pull the Auxiliary Power Fuse (Fuse 23 in the under hood fuse box) this does not happen. What is connected to this fuse and is it okay to drive the vehicle without it? I am currently replacing the fuse every morning and would like to leave it out until we can track down the problem.

Hello,

Is sounds like you have a bad lighter feel the unit to see if it is hot? There is only two sockets this fuse powers see below. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

I have an 05 Buick Terraza with 37,500 miles. The ABS light came on so I took it to my dealer. They said it needed a wheel speed sensor. While they were repairing that, they said the battery just suddenly died. The svc mgr said "it happens all the time" for a batt to just die overnight with no warning whatsoever. Is this true?

Could be, that battery was a little new (2 yrs) to have suddenly died. Usually they give up at the first drastic weather change, but usually they are a little older

Sounds like the good ol' delco battery. OE ac delco batteries are not the most reliable around.I see new vehicles come off the transport trucks with defective batteries.
