2005 Buick Terraza Alignment

I was told that I need to repair the wheel Bearing front and rear and the rear knuckle. What is the knuckle? Why is connected. Any ideas of how to repair.

Replacement is rather involved and requires several special tools and will need aligned. Front bearing remove wheel caliper, rotor , speed ring and wiring then unbolt. see diagram
