Drivers side window has not worked for years. Friend put the motor and the plastic thing with it on.
That was the problem appeared as rolled down a few times and then quit. He thinks it is in the switch now. All the other windows work do you get just that switch or all of them? I also read something about resetting the switch. It makes no noise like it is not making connection or something. When he first put it in it worked then I tried it and it didn't and he hit on the door and it worked. Any suggestions.

Thanks

could be loose or dirty connectors at the switch. if wiring is good than switch will probably need replaced.
