Electrical problem
1997 Buick Skylark 6 cyl Automatic 179,00 miles

The fan isn't getting power. Had the connection checked and believe it to be a relay issue, but don't know which relay the fan is connected to. Please help. Haven't been able to find a book.

Relay is under the hood in the box labled Fuses. Remove the lid and look inside the lid for a diagram showing which relay is for the cooling fan. You can test the relay by pulling it out and checking for continuity across the two leads. Or just replace it.

If this doesn't solve the issue the coolant temp sensor might be bad or the fan its self.
