Electrical problem
1996 Buick Skylark 90000 miles

My drivers side window is touch and go.
I'm replacing the motor, I was told that I need a regulator also because there is some rust on it.
Can I just lubricate the metal and install the motor?
price difference motor=$50. with regulator =$120.
I'm selling the car after this is fixed.

The motor probably went bad because of the reguator. You always have the option of telling folks about it when they look at it if you don't want to spend the money.
