Transmission problem
1993 Buick Skylark 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

car was making clicking sound in front, than a clunk sound when in reverse, than parked it, came back out put in reverse nothing, put in drive, heard large bang and no drive either, wont move, had it towed home. heard its a cv joint, dont know how to replace it.

the axle shaft must be removed first than you can disassemble it to remove the CV joint. steps are below on removing and installing axle shaft.
