Last night my wife bottomed out her car 93 buick Skylark in a large tractor rut. This afternoon while driving her car made a loud pop and started wobbling like a blown tire. When I looked underneath the chassis I noticed a busted bracket and coolant / water leaking out along with a light greenish lubricant (grease). My best guess is a damaged water pump, but what is this bracket? pic included.

Hi AaronMo,

Thank you for the donations.

The water pump is at the lower end so most probably it is damaged.

The item shown should be part of the transaxle to engine brace. It is broken and you need a new piece.
