The output shaft on that side may have a warn support bearing on the inside of the unit. Try this first. Pop out the new seal, throw in garbage, get new seal. Take new seal spring from inside of seal, unscrew the spring. One end is opened, and the other end of the spring is tapered. CUT about 1/8" off of the open end of the spring, then rescrew the 2 ends back together. REMEMBER. Turn the tapered end counter clockwise first by pre-coiling the spring, so when you put the 2 ends together, the spring will self screw itself on. If you dont, it will uncoil in the car and you'll have a bigger leak. Now, put the spring back into the seal and install new seal in transmission. This tightening of the spring will apply a little more force onto the seal surface hopefully correcting the leak. Otherwise some aftermarket trans warehouses (wholesalers that dont sell to the public) might have a replacement seal with built in bearing race. (MIGHT) good luck.
