1991 Buick Skylark 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 75853 miles

i have a 1991 and it's poppin back thru the throdull body but when you give it gas then it smoothes right out. It will die on me but then it starts back up but when you go to put it in gear it will die or doesn't want to go please help me out asap

Check the fuel pressure and comeback with the readings. Could also mean an idle air control valve and throttle position sensor problem.
