Quad four running rough!

Checked entire ignition system everything working. Engine starts and runs rough like on 3 cyl. Check engine light does not come on but I pulled the code with paper clip trouble code 34 in the computer. After running the car for a min. smell of gas under hood but no signs of leaks. Cant find book locally. What is code 34 and any suggestions? I think maybe EGR valve but Im not a technician.

Try a coil housing if you havent already. The coil housing acts as the plug wires on those engines and should be replaced when doing a major tune up
