The transmission in my Roadmaster needs to be rebuilt. In deciding whether that is worth the money to do, the question becomes, "is this the point in its life where there will be expensive repairs needed on an ongoing and fairly regular basis?" Do you have any sense of at what age or mileage these cars become a financial liablity?

Anything I say would be a guess. It is all based on how the vehicle was taken care of and under what conditions it was used.

As far as the engines, they will run well over 200K if maintained; however, things like bearings, brake components, sensors... still wear out.

You know the vehicle. IF it has been reliable until now, chances are it will continue to be. I wish I could tell you more, but I can't.
