Electrical problem
1993 Buick Roadmaster V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130k miles

What could make a car read that the car is running hot? New Thermostat and intake. Also New Radiator Cap. When accelorating 50-70mph the temp gauge reads that the car is hot.... in the red. As soon as acceloration is reached the temp returns to normal. Could this be electrical? Car doesn't appear to be hot.
