1993 Buick Roadmaster no fuel to carb

I have disconnected the fuel lines from the carb and have no sign of fuel to the Carb. when I turn the ignition on I can hear the fuel pump start pumping and then stop. if i crank the car i hear the pump start and stop. Help

If the fuel filter isn't plugged solid and you hear the pump, it must be bad. Even if it runs, it may not be pumping fuel. Check for pressure before the fuel filter.
