Electrical problem
1992 Buick Roadmaster Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Trunk will not close. Seems to catch, but I no longer hear the motor. When I press the black tab on the car the motor ran for a second. Now the tab doesn't respond to pressure. Is there a fuse associated with the motor? Is there a part I can test with a meter? Could I have sprung something by putting a tall item into the trunk. I have never forced it closed. Thank you so much for your time and efforts. I'm sorry, I cannot donate right now.

Start by checking the fuses. Let me know what you find.
