1996 Buick Riviera fuel pump, or fuel relay

1996 Buick Riviera V8 Automatic

car will only start if you pour gas into the engine. think maybe the fuel pump, but someone said maybe the fuel relay, can you tell me where the fuel pump relay is .

Do you hear the fuel pump when you put key at On position for 2secs? If not check the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay-

You sure this is a V8 engine? I'm coming up with a V6 3.8L engine on this 1996 Buick Riviera
