the coolant light in our '96 riviera turns on and off. the level in the fill bottle is where it should be and the car doesn't overheat. we aren't sure if the sensor is bad or if there is an air buble in the system. if its a bad sensor where is it? and if there is an air buble how do you get rid of it? thanks for any and all help you can give us!

Hi:
The coolant sensor is in the overflow. If the coolant reaches below a certain level, the light is to come on. However, if it's full, the sensor ay have a short.
