1995 Buick Riviera

You can find and get access to the fuel pump through a access panel in the trunk of the car. Remove the spare tire and the carpet in the trunk. You will notice a silver cover on the right (passenger side) side of the trunk approximatly over the rear axle. Once you remove the screws that hold the cover down then you will see the top of the fuel pump.

The pump's hoses, most of the time, have easy release connectors. Make sure you clean any contaminates/dirt from the top of the fuel pump. Make sure you don't drop anything into the tank. Make sure the area is well vented and no open flames. It is best it the tank isn't full of gas, but that is not always an option when the pump fails.
