I need help getting my touch screen computer to display again. Occasionally it will flicker on, but generally it stays black. I still have full funtion I just can't see anything. Please help me diagnose if you can. Thank you.

The actual display CRT is bad. These are custom input conventional CRT displays that can only be repaired by an electronic Tech. These displays were actually made by ZENITH. I had the same issue but just popped my 1986 CRT into my 89.They are very easy to change. I can buy one at the local junk yard for around $40. Intresting factoid - These displays are upwordly interchangeable BUT NOT DOWNWARD. A 1986, 87, 88 display will work in your 1989 but not the other way!
