I have a message " AWD DISABLE" light on. The light has been on for about 6 months. At first the light came on for about 2 days and went off. Afterward, it came on again and stayed on. I have reviewed my manual to no avail.
Also, whenever I hit a hole or any rough surface, my " ANTI LOCK' light comes on and stays on for several weeks. It is time to have my car inspected and I live in a emission county, i am worried about the cost of having the lights fixed. Please advise what I can do to correct this problem! i am really frantic.'
I have not taken my car to a mechanic, I do not ha ve the money.

Chances are there is a sensor problem. You need to have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Many parts stores will do it for free.

Do that and let me know what you find.
