My 2005 Buick Rendevouz has 54716 miles. Yesterday my husband noticed a strange noise on the front side passenger. I didn't notice it but he said it sounded like something rubbing. About two months ago I replaced the tires and both front/rear brakes. Today as I started driving the car the noises go louder and they sounded like the were coming from the middle of the car (engine); sounded like rubbing and thumping. Would you please help me try to figure out what's wrong? We've been dealing with a lot of potholes this winter and I'm afraid I knocked something loose.

You might have a front wheel bearing going out. You should have it checked out.
