2003 Buick Rendezvous Rear window not working

2003 BUICK RENDEZVOUS
134,000 MILES • 6 CYL • AWD • AUTOMATIC

Fuse OK
all other windows work
replaced master switch (not problem)
replaced window switch (not problem)
with ignition on and master window lock switch on-nothing
with master lock switch off-can hear a click in door when pushing switch up but nothing when pushing switch down.
If it is the motor will I have to replace the whole regulator assembly? There's a motor on Ebay.

I see this alot on the rear windows, cause they don't get much use.

I've had very good success by taking everything apart, cleaning the commutator in the motor and then putting it all back together.

Since I have no experience with motors, I wouldn't be daring enough to disassemble one. I was wondering if my troubleshooting could point to some other problem that I haven't considered. Sorry, you're dealing with a "try to fix it" mom. :)

do you have a test light or a multimeter so you can test for power right at the connection on the motor?
