2003 Buick Rendezvous engine ticking

The oil has been checked, it doesn't need oil but it is ticking is the oil pump or what do you think? I am disabled and I can not aford to donate right now but I truly do need your help please thank you

Hi:
I doubt that the oil pump is going bad. If the light or gauge isn't indicating a problem, chances are you just have a loose rocker arm. You can remove the valve cover to check if it is adjustable.
