2002 Buick Rendezvous wipers/wiper motor

The wipers on the suv have slowed right down. I have used WD40 on all the joints but the wipers are still slow. Should I replace the wiper motor? If so how do I do this.

Your wiper transmission pivots could be seizing up. Best to get the transmission replaced before the motor burns out. If you are handy you could drill holes in the pivot area and clean all the crap out with brake cleens and lubricate the heck out of it but in the long run replacement is a better option.
