2002 Buick Rendezvous Control fan switch

The control Fan switch for the heater/AC doesnot work properly. We have to turn up to the third postion for the fan to work. Also water gets into the brake lights on the right side at the back. Can't find the leak. Sugguestion

Replace the blower motor resister for the fan. As far as the light, they leak on the seam. Carefully drill a small hole at the lowest poing ot the light assembly (you may want to remove it for this) so the water in it can drain. Then use a clear silocone to reseal seams... If that doesn't work, let the hole open at the bottom of the lens so water can escape.
