My 2002 Buick Rendezvous AC works intemittently. It works only sometimes, no exact behavior observed, initially I was observing that it works only in the evenings when temperature outside is low, but yesterday observed it worked during day time also once. There is no guaranty, that switching of the car and start it again, that AC will work or not. Any suggestions.

I think the answer to your question is yes. I noticed none( two) of the fans near radiator work when I start the car under the hood, though internal blower works fine. Freon status is ok, I got it checked by mechanic today, he suspects it to be a electronic issue, may be a fuse, but he couldn't check that. Hope this helps.

See if cooling fans come on with AC on. If not then high side switch is cutting Ac comp off to protect. Check fuses and fan relay underhood in junction box.
