Hi guys (and girls?), We have enjoyed owning the 2001 Buick Rendezvous for the past almost 10 years. But our difficulties with the HVAC system never seems to end. We have also poured a lot of money in ball bearing issues, etc. We recall several years past of seeing many complaints on the Internet regarding oil leakage into the engine. And now again we are asked to shell out $1150 for a cracked condenser. The ac compressor was replaced in 2006. Is this all normal or is this a known problem? Many thanks in advance, KATHSEAN

the car is 9 years old, a cracked condensor wouldn't be out of hte normal, especially if it is driven over bumpy roads or been in a front end accident. Age gets to different stuff. If the ball bearings were the wheel bearings then that was a known issue and shoul dhave been corrected a long time ago. if you keep going through them see if the bearings they are using are cheap ones, like from china, etc. there was a problem with inlet gaskets which has been corrected, but that put anti freeze to the outside and inside themotor..
