Air bag light

I just had the ignition system changed on my 1999 regal LS and now my air bag light stays on and so does the service engine soon light ,,, the mechanic tried to trouble shoot the problem with his computer but cannot find any codes etc....

can anyone help me with this problem?

Check the fuses and you need to use a scanner to read the code s for the air bag system
And for service engine soon too
