My 2004 Buick Regal with 37000 miles stalls occasionally when applying the brakes. The car will starts back up and runs fine. There is no indication of it quiting. We have replace the battery and the fuel filter. The dealer could not find codes and has no idea what could be causing it to stall. They want to flush the fuel system, replace the ignition switch and the fuel pump. It is when the vehicle is slowing down. It quit doing it when I originally posted, but it has started again.

Do you mean it stalls when coming up to a light or when you apply the brakes to put it in gear? Could have a slow/sticky ISC motor (idle speed control).
