2003 Buick Regal Engine shut off

My car will be driving fine and then every dash bord light comes on and the engine shuts off with out warning. What causes this and what can I do to fix it?

Do the lights come on and then the engine die or does the engine die and then the lights come on?

Also, does it start right back up for you?
