2002 Buick Regal Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles

Would like to know why the catalyctic converter has gone out on my 2002 Regal twice in one year? The last one was only in for 4 months. Do you have any idea what would be causing this problem?

You ned to fix ANY underlying problems first, or ALL converters can be ruined, have the codes read, fix problems, were the 02 sensors changed? You might have a mixture problem, due to a poor performing sensor.
