2001 Buick Regal shift solenoid b

Transmission problem
2001 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi I took my car to a shop to get my trans checked the guy told me I need to get my shift solenoid b replaced because it was clogged. Isn't the solenoid b right there when you pull of the transmission pan . If not does it consist of dropping the trans the regal is supercharged if that madders. Thank you

If you drop the trans pan, you'll have access to it. Also, clogged?
