2001 Buick Regal Key sticks

My ignition key wont come out. This causes the battery to drain and is killing my battery life. The key does not turn completely back in the locked position.
I have two keys and they both do the same thing. Periodically the key will come out...I'm not doing anything different and have not been able to repeat the extraction process.

It sounds like the tumbler needs replaced. Chances are it is just worn out.
