Coolant appears to be leaking under the manifold. Does this mean the intake manifold needs to be replaced? Is this comon in these cars and is it a big deal or should I look into buying a new car?
Right now the add coolant light is coming on every 3 or 4 days for me to add water/coolant. Thanks

You do not need to replace the Intake manifold if it is just the gasket going bad. take off the manifold and clean off the mating surfaces of the manifold and the engine block.

It is not neccessarly a common problem, when they go out they just go out, you do not need a new car.
