2000 Buick Regal 110000 miles

I have had my car for about a month and it has had these 2 problems ever since I've had it.

1) Sometimes when I go to turn the car off, my key sticks and the battery does not shut off. If I wait long enough, I will hear a "click" and my key will turn off and come out. How can I fix this?

2) My fuel gauge is stuck on "Full" all of the time. I have already run out of gas once, and it would be nice if I didn't have to keep up with my miles to make sure I'm filling up.

How can I fix these problems?

Does the click come from under the dash?


As far as the fuel gauge, chances are the float in the tank is bad. It sends power to the gauge.
