1999 Buick Regal Car dying

Hi, My car has recently stopped working. We were driving and the power steering went and then all of the warning lights came on an the car died. We couldn't restart it at first. It would turn over, no sound was heard but the dashboard lights came on. We put it in neutral and it started. Does anyone know what the problem might be? The Mass air flow sensor was changed a few months ago.

First, since the PS went out before the engine died, have you made sure the belt didn't break? Next, have you checked to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel? Finally, is the starter working?
