My check engine light is on. When I push the gas pedal, the car won't move. It just revs but won't accelerate. Also it made a loud ticking sound while its idle after I started it on this one part thats about a foot long and it's close to the firewall. The part has some small hoses connected to it on top. Could this be a problem with my transmission or is it something possibly wrong with a cylinder misfire?
