my low trac light keeps coming on and when I brake, it sometimes sounds and feels like the brake isn't holding or catching. occasionally the car lurches before it actually stops. what does this mean and what do I do to repair it???

A transmission problem indicated. Need to have BCM checked for codes. An auto parts store will do. Then post codes
