1997 Buick Regal replaced tensioner and belt still squeals

The mechanic first replaced the tensioner. Car still squealed. So then he replaced the belt. Then he said the tensioner maybe faulty and replaced it again. Should I now tell him to check the crank shaft pulley?

We ran into the same problem
it was the crank shaft pulley
