1997 Buick Regal oil pump

i think i dropped some plastic in my intake when i changed plastic elbow and now my care cuts off .. i think it is cuz the oil pressure isn't right.. so how do i change the oil pump to clean it out and replace it(location of the oil pump)

have to drop the oil pan to access and remove the oil pump. dropping oil pan does require removing engine mounts and lifting engine up.
