1997 Buick Regal Can't Turn Left

I have a 1997 Buick Regal that has recently (3 days ago) started giving me trouble when attempting to turn left. It's not that it won't turn, but there's great difficulty and it is very tight. This problem doesn't exist when turning right, but only left. I checked to see if i had power steering fluid and it did. What is the potential problem here?

It sounds like the rack and pinion has gone bad. It will need replaced.
