The car started acting up a while ago, first it stalled out like it was out of gas, the fuel gage registered 1/4 tank, but when fuel was added, car ran fine. Next it started to loose power when the a/c or fan was on and the car accellerated, last the car stalled out with more than 1/2 tank and will not start. The engine turns over and catches for a few seconds and then quickly dies. The fuel filters near the tank and in the engine checked out fine, when the fuel line was disconnected from the engine but the key turned to auxillery power, gas flowed. The engine does not seem to be getting fuel, is my fuel injector bad? Now we just want the car to start long enough to either trade it in or sell it privately. Thanks.

If you were getting fuel, that may be fine or it may not have enough pressure. Have you actually checked fuel pressure? Will the car start for a few seconds with starting fluid?

We haven't tried starting fluid yet, and I'm not sure how to check the pressure. I'll look that up and see if that is the problem, thank you so much for replying!!

Try the starting flu. If it starts with it, then the engine isn't getting fuel.

As far as the fuel pressure, here is a video HOW TO and directions for checking it.
