1995 Buick Regal Change rear struts

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. In any case, remove jack pad at bottom center of rear transverse spring. Move exhaust out of way, if necessary. Position center shank of Rear Spring Compressor (J-35778 ) onto rear transverse spring (on front of spring). See Fig. Attach rear spring compressor body to center shank, ensuring spring is centered on rollers. Compress spring to release pressure from knuckles. DO NOT remove spring or retention plates. Remove brake hose bracket from strut. Remove bolts securing strut to body. Remove bolts securing strut to knuckle, and remove strut.
