AS I WAS DRIVING, MY BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND MY CAR CUT OFF. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? IS IT THE ALTERNATOR OR BATTERY GOING OUT?

Hi:
It could be either. Fully charge the battery and take it to a parts store and have it load tested. If it's ok, remove the alt and go back to the parts store and have them bench test it.
