Engine periodiclly stalls when slowing approaching a Stop.

what size engine? when it stalls does it start right back up? does it jerk when slowing down like it wants to keep moving? does the check engine light come on?

Answer: The engine just dies. Put in neutral and it restarts. Is there an idle control module that could fail?
