Engine Performance problem
1994 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

at start-up engine check light comes on and idles rough. Turn off and restart light goes out and runs good. Dies sometimes at stop light while waiting and hard to restart. Twice now it has died while traveling 45 to 50 mph. Again hard to restart/

Hi there,

The check light is a visual indication that the ECU has logged a fault code, you will need to get a scan done to check for this and any other unresolved fault code still in the system, start here.
