Electrical problem
1993 Buick Regal 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When I make a left turn and push turn signal arm down,
the turn signal does not start flashing. But if I tap up on the turn signal arm with my finger then it starts flashing and works fine.( I have to do this when I turn left, right turn works ok. What could be the cause and how would I fix it?
